In short
On 14 January 2013 plans were presented by GE Transportation and Tülomsaş for the production of 50 PowerHaul locomotives in the next two years at Tülomsaş' factory in Eskişehir. Part of the 50 locos are 30 units for TCDD, the Turkish state railways. Although having tested a UK profile PowerHaul locomotive (DE 37001) of the type PH37ACmi, which was the first Tülomsaş built PowerHaul, TCDD has ordered the design for European continent (PH37ACai).
