COMSA Rail Transport S.A., which was founded in 2002, is a private rail operator from Spain and is part of the COMSA EMTE group. Since 2007 it operates trains on the Spanish network under its own licence. For this purpose, it has various locomotive types available, such as modern 253 series TRAXX locomotives and 335 series EURO 4000 diesel locomotives. Of the latter, two locomotives were ordered in 2006, which subsequently entered service in 2008. In October 2018, SNCF took over and rebranded the business in Captrain Espana.
