[GB] Another batch of Class 68s is inbound

Home Stadler Rail Valencia UKLIGHT Beacon Rail Class 68 [GB] Another batch of Class 68s is inbound

The ship carrying the next three Class 68 locomotives for DRS / Chiltern Railways is scheduled to arrive at the Liverpool Gladstone Docks on August 28. At 09.06 in the morning, a DRS locomotive is expected to arrive at the docks for further transport to the DRS depot at Crewe Gresty Bridge. This move is currently scheduled to take place in the morning of August 29 around 10.14.

On board of the ship should be units 68012, 68013 and 68014. Of the first batch of fifteen units, only 68001 and 68015 are still to be delivered to the UK. It is therefore likely that either 68001 or 68015 will be present at the InnoTrans trade fair in Berlin next month.
