The summer holiday season has started, also for Euro-Express Treincharter B.V. (EETC). After a succesful season in 2013, the Dutch charter train operator again offers Koper in Slovenia as a destination for its 'Autoslaaptrein' services. The train, composed of car carriers and passenger coaches, departs from Den Bosch on Fridays and returns from Slovenia on Saturdays.

Since the heavy ice rains in January, the overhead wiring on the section Prestranek - Borovnica has been out of service. For that reason, electric locomotives get the support of diesel locomotives, some of them hired from other operators.
