That Rail Cargo Group is expanding its business into Croatia is no secret. The company has already received type approval for Class 1063 electric locomotives and is refitting some of its Class 1116 electrics with a third pantograph to also get them approved for the Croatia. Now also a Class 2016 diesel has arrived in the country for homologation trials: 2016 081. Just like sister locomotives 2016 082-085, 081 is currently approved for Germany, Austria and Slovenia.
